The U.S. Army achieved $33.6 billion in new security assistance business in Fiscal Year 2025, reinforcing its commitment to strengthening collective defense and enhancing the capabilities of U.S. allies and partners. Managed by the Deputy Assistant Secretary of the Army for Defense Exports and Cooperation, last year’s security cooperation efforts involved collaboration with 134 countries and international organizations. The purpose of these programs is to build modern, interoperable allies and partners capable of fighting alongside, or in lieu of, U.S. forces.
