When asked what words of advice he has for a junior Marine, he said, “Keep working hard. There are going to be times when you believe no one is watching you. You might think that no one recognizes what you are doing or how much work you’re putting in, but that’s not true. There’s always someone watching you. You might not always get the reward immediately, but down the path you will see all the hard work start to pay off.”
