A social media graphic created for National Dentist Day, which falls each year on March 6 to bring awareness to dentistry and oral health. The U.S. Navy Dental Corps was established on Aug. 22, 1912, and is comprised of more than 1,400 active duty and reserve dentists, with over 500 practicing or training in 15 dental specialties. Navy dentists provide direct support to combat operations, disaster relief and humanitarian assistance missions, and provide the oral patient safety and quality healthcare to our warfighters.
