FLEET ACTIVITIES YOKOSUKA, Japan -- Public Affairs Officers (PAO) and Mass Communication Specialists (MC) attending the 2026 Far East MC Pro-Dev Workshop pose for a group photo outside Commander, Fleet Activities Yokosuka's (CFAY) Fleet Theater February 24. The three-day professional development workshop, set to conclude later this week, includes leadership panels, special program discussions, detailer briefs and package review boards mentoring First Class Petty Officers aiming to earn their anchors. The conference also offered training in Operational Task Visual Information (OPTASK VI), the Navy-wide mission designed to capture and document unsafe, unprofessional, or nefarious activities by foreign militaries against U.S. assets at sea, on land, and in the air, and provided first-hand experiences in Afloat Training Group Western Pacific's simulators.
