irman 1st Class Serina Garcia was named the National Guard Bureau Financial Management Airman of the Year for 2025, a national-level award. Additionally, she was named the 2025 Financial Manager of the Year for the 150th Comptroller Flight, New Mexico Air National Guard. “A couple of the traits that make her extraordinary is she's super reliable. Every position she’s been in, she completely owns it,” said Capt. Steven Santistevan, Commander, 150th Comptroller Flight. “She's a phenomenal team player. She integrates really well with everyone on the team. She helps people with their programs. And lastly, she's mission-focused. She understands how the work she does today affects our resource advisors, commanders and ultimately the 150th mission.”
