U.S. Marine Corps Cpl. Jermaine Jeffrey Bailey, an administrative specialist with Headquarters & Service Company, poses for a photo at Marine Barracks Washington, D.C., on Feb. 17, 2026. Bailey, a native of Kissimmee, Florida, was recruited from Recruiting Sub-Station Ocala. As an administrative specialist, his responsibilities include learning administrative procedures and processes, handling pay and personnel information, and preparing correspondence, orders, and directives. At the Barracks, Bailey has an extensive record on the parade staff, having served on the parade staff, enlisted parade staff, and non-commissioned officer parade staff, including marching in the junior enlisted swordsman position. He is also a Martial Arts Instructor and was a "Commanding General's Own" Drill School (CDS) instructor for 2-26. This season, he will again serve on the parade staff as the junior enlisted swordsman. Bailey states his favorite part of serving at MBW is "enjoying both Drum and Bugle Corps and Silent Drill Platoon’s performance and being part of Parade Staff." (U.S. Marine Corps photo by Cpl.
