The Navy Reserve Center Puerto Rico host a Purple Heart ceremony assisted by 1st Mission Support Command to honor former hospital corpsman, Rey Perez in Ft. Buchanan, Feb. 12, 2026. Perez will receive the Purple Heart because he sustained injuries while serving in a hostile operational environment.
