Meet Lt. Col. Thomas Dannenberg, Sgt. Maj. Damon Davis, Capt. Christian Rivera Rodriguez, and 1st Sgt. Navidad Calderon, the 21st Special Troops Battalion and Headquarters and Headquarters Company command team.
During the recent budget impasse, this leadership team prioritized the well-being of 21st STB personnel through continuous assessments of the needs of the force and consistent messaging of available resources. One way they did this was through weekly information sharing sessions with other brigade commanders within the 21st Theater Sustainment Command. “Ultimately, the well-being of our STB family was a collective effort, involving everyone from our newest privates to senior leaders and external collaborators and units. Together, we navigated this complex period with resilience and commitment,” said Lt. Col. Dannenberg, 21st STB commander.
