The WWII reconnaissance aircraft, the Fieseler Fi-156C-2 Storch was moved from restoration into the WWII Gallery for public display. The aircraft on display was donated to the museum by Lt. Col. Perry A. Schreffler and Maj. Robert C. Van Ausdell, Santa Paula, Calif., and delivered to the museum in 1974. Museum staff completed an 18 month restoration of the aircraft in August of 2025.(U.S. Air Force photo by Ken LaRock)
