For the first time in CCAD’s history, four skilled artisans from the Directorate of Power Train have retired simultaneously — a remarkable milestone that reflects a combined 131 years of federal service dedicated to Army aviation readiness (pictured left to right).
• Jesus Guevara Jr. retires after 36 years of dedicated service to the federal government as an Aircraft Mechanic Parts Repairer.
• Wallace Ham retires after 36 years of dedicated service to the federal government as an Aircraft Mechanic Parts Repairer.
•. Douglas Carter retires after 22 years of dedicated service to the federal government as an Aircraft Mechanic Parts Repair Leader.
•. Jimmy McCombs retires after 37 years of dedicated service to the federal government as an Aircraft Mechanic Parts Repairer.
These outstanding professionals have spent decades applying their skill, craftsmanship, and unwavering dedication to the Army’s mission. Their work has been instrumental in maintaining and repairing critical aircraft components, directly supporting operational readiness and the safety of those who serve.
