ATLANTIC OCEAN (Sept. 23, 2025) U.S. Navy Hull Technician Fireman Apprentice Armond Branch, from Ansonia, Connecticut, assigned to San Antonio-class amphibious transport dock ship USS Arlington (LPD 24), shaves down a lock in an engineering space while the ship is underway in support of UNITAS, the 66th iteration of the world’s longest-running multinational maritime exercise. UNITAS, Latin for Unity, focuses on enhanced interoperability, building regional partnerships, and demonstrating U.S. Naval Forces Southern Command/U.S. 4th Fleet as the trusted maritime partner in the Caribbean, Central and South America.
