A United Launch Alliance Vulcan rocket carrying the USSF-106 mission successfully launched from SLC-41 at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station, Florida on Aug. 12, 2025. Both satellites aboard the USSF-106 mission are bound for geosynchronous orbit 22,300 miles above the equator where spacecraft take 24 hours to complete one orbit appearing stationary in the sky.
