Col. Timothy Spaulding, Air Force Life Cycle Management Center Bombers Directorate program executive officer, assumes command of the directorate during a Change of Leadership ceremony on Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, Aug. 1, 2025.
AFLCMC Commander Lt. Gen. Donna Shipton presided over the ceremony.
The Bombers Directorate oversees the modernization and sustainment of the Air Force’s 150+ aircraft bomber fleet and organizes, trains and equips the B-21 program in support of Air Force Global Strike Command and the United States Air Force.
The Directorate delivers combat capability to Air Force core functions, including Air Superiority, Global Precision Attack, and Nuclear Deterrence Operations.
