Senior Drill Instructor Staff Sgt. Lizeth Deoliveira commented, "From the very start we could tell Hardin was very knowledgeable and logical. She was able to make a plan and hold her peers accountable at all times. Hardin was constantly seeking guidance and criticism on her leadership skills to improve as the guide. At time, she did not want to hold her billet, but we continued to push her because we saw the potential she had. Hardin stood above and beyond her peers and the platoon appreciated her efforts and example."
