After struggling to reopen after a devastating fire last year, Yuma County’s American Veterans post is about to resume full operations thanks to the transfer of abandoned trailers left behind at U.S. Army Yuma Proving Ground. “It was a benefit to the government to have a no-cost disposal of these items,” said Jonathan Olbert, Operations Division Chief. “A private firm was able to do the relocation from our range to their facility at no cost to the government."
