U.S. Marines with the 1st Tank Battalion quick reaction force move toward a rally point at Camp Pendleton, Calif., during a reaction force raid training exercise on Feb. 28, 2011. The training was part of Exercise Iron Fist, a three-week bilateral training event between the Marine Corps and Japan Ground Self-Defense Force designed to increase interoperability between the two services while aiding the Japanese in their continued development of amphibious capabilities.
