U.S. Army soldiers with the 864th Engineer Battalion, assigned to Combat Outpost Terminator, continue a second day setting up HESCO barriers to establish the perimeter of a strong-point operating position in the Zhari district of Kandahar province, Afghanistan, on Sept. 16, 2010. The combat engineers were given 48 hours to establish a defensive perimeter and six days to fully complete the construction of the new combat outpost.
