Amphibious assault vehicles transport U.S. Marines and Malaysian soldiers from the 9th Royal Malay Regiment along Resang Beach in Malaysia during a Cooperation Afloat Readiness and Training 2009 joint amphibious landing exercise on June 29, 2009. Cooperation Afloat Readiness and Training is a series of bilateral exercises held annually in Southeast Asia to strengthen relationships and enhance the operational readiness of the participating forces.
