Rodriguez, with Fox Battery, 2nd Battalion, 11th Marine Regiment, 1st Marine Division, helps push an M-777A1 field howitzer during a desert fire exercise at Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center, Twentynine Palms, Calif., on May 7, 2009. The desert fire exercises consist of three weeks of live fire in the field with the aim of keeping Marines combat-ready at all times.
