U.S. Coast Guardsmen lift Nick Schuyler from an overturned vessel and into a helicopter 35 miles west of Tampa Bay, Fla., on March 2, 2009. Rescue operations began when watch standers at Coast Guard Sector St. Petersburg, Fla., were notified March 1 that Schuyler and three friends had not returned from a fishing trip. The Coast Guardsmen are from U.S. Coast Guard Air Station Clearwater, Fla., and USCGC Tornado (WPC 14).
