A U.S. Navy plane captain aboard the aircraft carrier USS Ronald Reagan (CVN 76) gives the "start-engine" signal to the pilot of an E-2C Hawkeye aircraft during flight operations in the Persian Gulf on May 21, 2006. Reagan and Carrier Air Wing 14 are conducting maritime security operations in the region.
