Air Force Staff Sgt. Randy James inspects the augmenter section of an F100-PW-229 jet engine prior to a test run at the hush house on Nellis Air Force Base, Nev., on May 17, 2006. The engine is one of two used to power the F-15E Strike Eagle aircraft. James is an aerospace propulsion mechanic assigned to the 57th Component Maintenance Squadron.
