U.S. Army Veterinarian Maj. Jim Riche examines a donkey as its owner watches during a veterinary and medical civic action program in Adelae, Ethiopia, on Feb. 1, 2006. Local veterinary students and members from the 96th Civil Affairs Battalion, Combined Joint Task Force-Horn of Africa, set up a makeshift veterinary clinic to examine and administer de-worming medicine to the villagers' animals.
