U.S. Army Pfc. Justin Drake maintains a defensive position at the rear of a Humvee while in a simulated battle during Exercise Talisman Sabre at Shoalwater Bay Training Area, Queensland, Australia, on June 25, 2005. Talisman Saber is a combined U.S.-Australia command post and field training exercise, demonstrating the U.S. and Australian commitment to the military alliance and regional security. More than 17,000 Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine and Special Forces personnel are participating in the exercise. Drake is assigned to the 501st Airborne Division, Delta Company, Heavy Weapons and Anti-tank unit.
