Plane captains assigned to the Strike Fighter Squadron 34 watch flight operations from the catwalk aboard the USS Abraham Lincoln (CVN 72) on June 5, 2005. The Nimitz class aircraft carrier is underway to conduct readiness training at sea. The squadron, known as the Blue Blasters, flies the F/A-18 Hornet and deployed aboard the Lincoln from Naval Air Station Oceana, Va.
