Marine Lance Cpl. Jamie Davidson is bathed in light from a hole in the roof as he radios in his current position during a security halt in Kharma, Iraq, on May 29, 2005. Davidson's unit, Lima Company, 3rd Battalion, 8th Marine Regiment, is conducting counter-insurgency operations with Iraqi Security Forces to isolate and neutralize anti-Iraqi Forces in the area. Davidson is assigned to the 2nd Squad, 4th Platoon of Lima Company.
