Hospital personnel offload an simulated patient on a stretcher from a U.S. Coast Guard HH-65 Dolphin helicopter at Garden Park Medical Center in Gulfport, Miss., on May 24, 2005, during Exercise Lifesaver 2005. The exercise is a Homeland Security/National Disaster Medical System exercise being conducted in eight states, coordinating efforts between military, local, state and federal agencies. The exercise scenario is based on an oil refinery explosion involving more than 200 patients.
