A Navy HH-60H Seahawk hovers over the Pacific Ocean as it prepares to put two swimmers attached to an Explosive Ordnance Disposal detachment in the water to detonate a simulated mine during a training exercise on March 8, 2005. EOD technicians routinely train to locate and disarm various explosive devices. The Seahawk is attached to Helicopter Anti- submarine Squadron 14 of Naval Air Station Atsugi, Japan. The EOD technicians and the Seahawk are operating from the aircraft carrier USS Kitty Hawk (CV 63).
