U.S. Army soldiers fire a 120-millimeter mortar round from Forward Operating Base Wilson in Iraq on Nov. 21, 2004. The mortar team is responsible for counter fire and terrain denial when anti-coalition forces fire on the base. The soldiers are assigned to 1st Battalion, 4th Cavalry Regiment, 1st Infantry Division.
