U.S. Marine Corps Armored Amphibious Vehicles emerge from the surf to land at Blue Beach on the island of Vieques, Puerto Rico, on Aug. 6, 2001. The Marines, deployed from Camp Lejeune, N.C. , are participating in a Supporting Arms Coordination exercise designed to provide advanced-level training for Marine forces.
