Sgt. Jason A. Parker, U.S. Army, aims down range as he competes in the men's 10 meter air rifle competition at the 2000 Olympic Games in Sydney, Australia, on Sept. 18, 2000. Fifteen U.S. military athletes are competing in the 2000 Olympic games as members of the U.S. Olympic team. In addition to the 15 competing athletes there are eight alternates and five coaches representing each of the four services in various venues. Parker is attached to the U.S. Army Marksmanship Unit, Fort Benning, Ga.
