Aircraft from Carrier Air Wing 9 fly over the aircraft carrier USS John C. Stennis (CVN 74) in a delta formation as the ship steams for its home port of San Diego, Calif., on June 29, 2000. The Stennis is hosting nearly one thousand friends and family members, called Tigers, for the transit from Pearl Harbor, Hawaii, to San Diego. This Tiger Cruise allows the friends and family members to experience life at sea with their sailors.
