Two members of the Strike Fighter Squadron 83 flight deck crew give the thumbs up for the catapult launch of one of the squadron's F/A-18C Hornets from the deck of the USS George Washington (CVN 73) on March 1, 2000. The aircraft carrier is conducting carrier qualifications in the Atlantic Ocean. The Strike Fighter Squadron 83 Rampagers are deployed to the carrier from Naval Air Station Oceana, Va.
