Capt. Larry Roszell examines the throat of one of the patients that came to a free medical clinic in Villamontes, Bolivia, on July 9, 1999. The clinic is set up as part of the humanitarian exercise New Horizons Bolivia '99. The humanitarian exercise is designed to improve the health and infrastructure of southeastern Bolivia by offering cost-free medical and dental care, building schools and medical clinics, digging fresh water wells and repairing roads. Roszell, a registered nurse, is the company commander for the 452nd Combat Support Hospital, Milwaukee, Wis.
