    The boom operator of a U.S. Air Force KC-135R Stratotanker watches as an F-16C/J Fighting Falcon approaches for in-flight refueling during NATO Operation Allied Force on March 31, 1999. Operation Allied Force is the air operation against targets in the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia. The Stratotanker is from the 351st Air Refueling Squadron based at RAF Mildenhall, United Kingdom, with the 100th Air Expeditionary Wing. The Fighting Falcon is from the 52nd Fighter Wing based at Spandahlem Air Base, Germany.
