U.S. and Netherlands service men prepare pallets of rice sacks for victims of Hurricane Mitch to be loaded on to a West Virginia Air National Guard C-130 Hercules at the airport in La Mesa, Honduras, on Nov. 11, 1998. Over 1,000 U.S. service members are helping to rush food, shelter, pure water and medical aid to the central Americans made homeless by Hurricane Mitch.
