More than 1,200 would-be plebes arrived at the U.S. Naval Academy in Annapolis, Md., Wednesday, July 1, 1998, for the annual induction ceremony. After receiving more than $2,000.00 worth of uniforms and a fresh haircut, the plebes are lined up, before being given brief instructions on basic military movements.
