A C-141 Starlifter approaches the refueling boom of a KC-135 Stratotanker during Air Mobility Rodeo 98, June 23, 1998. Rodeo 98 tests the flight and ground skills of aircrews as well as the related skills of special tactics, security forces, aerial porters, aeromedical evacuation and maintenance members. The goal of the international airlift-tanker competition is to develop and improve techniques and procedures that enhance air mobility operations. The Starlifter is assigned to the 452nd Air Mobility Wing, March Air Force Base, Calif. The Stratotanker is from the 91st Air Refueling Squadron, MacDill Air Force Base, Fla.
