Senior Airman Steve Hallenbeck, Airman 1st Class William Kellum, and Senior Airman Jack Burleigh prepare to detonate an unexploded bomblet found next to the runway at Al Jaber Air Base, Kuwait, on April 24, 1998. These explosive ordinance disposal experts, assigned to the 4406th Operations Group (Provisional), search for Desert Storm era unexploded ordnance on a daily basis. The airmen are deployed to Kuwait in support of Operation Southern Watch, which is the U.S. and coalition enforcement of the no-fly-zone over Southern Iraq.
