Advanced echelon members from the 305th Air Mobility Wing set up for operations after arriving at an operating base in Southwest Asia on Feb. 15, 1998. The advanced echelon team will coordinate the arrival of the remaining members of an Air Mobility Command Tanker Task Force who will operate in the Southwest Asia theater in support of Operation Southern Watch. Southern Watch is the U.S. and coalition enforcement of the no-fly-zone over Southern Iraq. The 305th Air Mobility Wing is deployed from McGuire Air Force Base, N.J.
