Secretary of Defense William S. Cohen (center) discusses quality of life issues with Lt. j.g. Cohen is aboard the San Diego-based guided missile destroyer while the ship is making a port visit to Bahrain in the Persian Gulf. Cohen is on a two-day visit to Bahrain, where he is visiting with sailors and Marines assigned to U.S. Fifth Fleet. Turner is from Jacksonville, Fla., while Quick is a native of Yucaipa, Calif.
