    British Royal Marines from 3 CDO, board a U.S. Navy Landing Craft Utility at Radio Island near Morehead City, N.C., on May 4, 1996, for Combined Joint Task Exercise 96. More than 53,000 military service members from the United States and the United Kingdom are participating in Combined Joint Task Force Exercise 96 on military installations in the Southeastern United States and in waters along the Eastern seaboard. The Royal Marines are part of a liaison unit to the 8th Marine Regiment.
