A U.S. Air Force security policeman digs in his pockets for a piece of candy to give to a local boy in Tuzla, Bosnia and Herzegovina, on Jan. 23, 1996, during Operation Joint Endeavor. He and other members of the 48th Security Police Squadron, RAF Lakenheath, United Kingdom, are escorting a convoy of military vehicles into Tuzla. U.S. troops are deployed to Tuzla Air Base as part of the NATO Implementation Force (IFOR) in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
