Space Base Delta 41 is responsible for combat support, combat service support, weapon system infrastructure, and installation support to space operational missions at Schriever Space Force Base, Colorado, as well as assigned geographically separated units at Ka’ena Point Space Force Station, Hawaii, and New Boston SFS, New Hampshire.
SBD 41 Patch Significance:
Platinum represents the men and women of the Space Operations Command who faithfully perform the Space Force Mission. The Centurion symbolizes warrior strength, discipline, courage, and endurance in support of space superiority. The Orion constellation embodies the strength and courage of the warriors that are always on the hunt. The white Polaris signifies our constant presence and vigilance in space, as well as our relentless pursuit of excellence as a guiding principle. The red Griffin emblazoned on the shield represents the strength of a lion and the bold flight of the eagle and serves as the steward of Schriever Space Force Base protecting the assigned Airmen and Guardians.
