Construction of Channel Segment 1, located near the western end of the Comite River Diversion project, is 65% complete. The contractor is continuing excavation of the channel near the utility bridge previously constructed at grade. Recent efforts that have been completed at Channel Segment 1 include channel excavation, rip rap placement, and construction of a utility bridge.
