Petty Officer McVey, originally from Iowa, has been here at NIOC Pensacola for almost two years and has been in the Navy for over six years. CTI1 McVey has been a key contributor to his teams' recent successes, covering down as the acting Operations Lead and positively impacting his team with his leadership and technical expertise; all while maintaining his workload as a linguist and translator! Under his guidance, his team discovered several key pieces of intelligence that enabled multiple cyber operations. Fun Fact: Petty Officer McVey enjoys playing pool, landscaping his property, and hanging out with his two "lap" dogs: a lab mix and a rottweiler. Additionally, someone from McVey's family has served in every major conflict since his ancestors fought for the Union during the U.S. Civil War.
