Stepping out for Memorial Day…Naval Hospital Bremerton staff take off at the onset of the command’s Memorial Day 10K/5K, presented by Health Promotion and hosted by the Junior Enlisted Association, May 22, 2025, which provided the opportunity for all participants to further hone their fitness standard(s) and build upon their mission readiness capability. According to compiled data, those who ran the 5K – or 3.1 miles – course, logged in approximately 4,700 steps, with those who walked the distance totaled over 6,500 steps (Official Navy photo by Douglas H Stutz, NHB/NMRTC Bremerton public affairs officer).
