Approximately 90 surviving family members gathered during an emotional Butterfly Release ceremony held May 16 at the Memorial Garden on Fort Gregg-Adams, Va. Each family received a butterfly to release in memory of their fallen loved one—a symbolic act of remembrance, hope and renewal.
