USS San Antonio Participates in Integrated Naval Warfighting Training

NORFOLK, Va. (May 8, 2025) – Lt. j.g. Regina Gulli, left, explains well deck operations while walking the lower vehicle storage during a pier side tour aboard the San Antonio-class amphibious landing dock USS San Antonio (LPD 17). The tour was part of an integrated phase training event for the Iwo Jima Amphibious Ready Group (ARG) and 22nd Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU) led by Carrier Strike Group (CSG) 4 and Expeditionary Operations Training Group. Fort Lauderdale is part of the Iwo Jima Amphibious Ready Group. Iwo Jima ARG and 22nd MEU are completing integrated naval warfighting training. ARGMEUEX prepares integrated naval task forces for sustained, high-end Joint and combined combat. Integrated naval training provides combatant commanders and the Commander-in-Chief highly capable forces that deter adversaries, underpin American security and economic prosperity, and reassure allies and partners.
