Pensacola, FL - NIOC Pensacola’s Warrior of the Week is Mr. Eric Housden.
After 20 years of military service, Mr. Housden began his civil service 2 years ago here at NIOC Pensacola. Working in our comptroller’s office, Mr. Housden serves as our primary travel manager. His responsibilities include the management of our Government Travel Credit Card (GTCC) program and ensuring all Official Travel is executed properly in the Defense Travel System (DTS). He’s also responsible for ensuring all our Sailors and civilians are properly trained on the programs and policies in place for the use of DTS and GTCCs. Mr. Housden is a reliable, helpful, and knowledgeable teammate and we are happy to call him our Warrior of the Week!
Fun Fact: Mr. Housden loves Pensacola’s hot weather – the more like Texas, the better! Even when it’s scorching outside, you can still find him on the golf course every week!
